A Side Note on My Creative Style
I want to share how I create music with my 10 distinct characters. Our songs fall into three main categories:・Character Songs (Identity): Songs that serve as "calling cards," defining who they are.
・Story Songs (Narrative): Songs like "short films" that dive deep into their backgrounds and destinies.
・Manifesto Songs (My Will): My sharpest "statements," where I express my own thoughts and messages through their voices.I don’t use AI because I lack ability. I use it because I believe these stories only find their soul when AI sings them.
LANGUAGE AND ADAPTATION POLICY
All songs in this project are originally written and conceptualized in Japanese.

Art Pop, to me, is music that is heard not for its genre or technique, but for its narrative, world-building, and emotional design.I design my music so that listeners don’t just hear a song, but step into a character, a story, and a specific emotional flow.Some songs act as simple entry points — introductions to who these characters are. Others unfold like short films, revealing their pasts, conflicts, and destinies.
And some exist as manifestos, where my own thoughts and intentions are spoken clearly through their voices.This layered structure is intentional. CORE CONCEPTS & LEGAL DEFINITIONS
To provide clear operational guidance regarding our rights and project operations, we define our legal framework through the following five pillars:
Intellectual Property (IP): The foundational creative elements of the Shark Girls project, including but not limited to character personas, names, logos and visual identity, manifestos, world-building, philosophical statements, narrative structure, and overall creative direction. These are derived from the creator’s intent and remain independent of AI involvement. In particular, the project’s narrative continuity, character relationships, and creative direction are human-developed value layers that are not reducible to any single generated file.Commercial Use Rights: The legal right to utilize, monetize, and distribute qualifying AI-assisted assets as granted under applicable subscription tiers, platform Terms of Service, or other valid commercial frameworks.Ownership: The right to control, manage, and possess project assets. This may arise either through (i) original ownership in independently created works, or (ii) the explicit assignment, grant, or vesting of rights under applicable platform Terms of Service (ToS). Where a platform expressly provides that eligible users own their outputs, the Shark Girls project treats such qualifying assets as project-owned to the extent recognized under the applicable terms.Copyright: Legal protection that may apply to human-authored works and sufficiently transformed production outputs, including original lyrics and the “Produced by” versions of our tracks that have undergone significant creative transformation (manual DTM intervention, editorial refinement, and linguistic or cultural adaptation). 1. AI ASSET GENERATION & RIGHTS MANAGEMENT
Rights, ownership, and usage treatment are managed based on the specific Terms of Service (ToS) of each AI platform (Music, Visuals, and others), together with the applicable subscription status, model version, and production context at the time of generation.
This includes raw generated assets, substantially transformed production outputs, and final release assets whose treatment may differ depending on the extent of human creative intervention.
Current Asset Catalog (Ownership-based Generation)
Status: Project Ownership Position (including applicable Copyright and Master/Control Rights)For assets generated under platforms that explicitly assign, grant, or vest rights, title, and interest in eligible outputs to the user (e.g., Suno AI ToS, subject to the applicable version and eligibility conditions), the Shark Girls project treats such qualifying assets as project-owned to the extent provided under those terms. This framework applies to current catalog assets produced under such conditions.
Future & Licensed Assets (License-based Generation)
Status: Commercial Use Rights (including perpetual use rights where provided under the applicable ToS)For assets generated under license-based or partnership-based frameworks, the project maintains the commercial use rights provided under the applicable terms, including perpetual rights where expressly defined by the relevant ToS. All distribution and monetization are conducted in compliance with the terms effective at the time of generation.
2. Intellectual Property: Lyrics, Personas, and Prompts
Core creative elements remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Shark Girls project, independent of AI involvement.
This framework also extends to human-led audiovisual composition, sequencing, editorial presentation, and other production-layer elements that shape the final released work.
Lyrics & Creative Editorial: All lyrics used in Shark Girls productions are finalized through a rigorous human-led editorial process. This includes cases where AI-generated drafts are substantively reconstructed, refined, or curated by human authors to reflect our specific creative intent. As such, the final lyrical output is treated as a human-authored creative work and, where legally recognized, may support independent copyright protection apart from the AI platform’s generation process.Character Personas & Icons: The unique identities, names, backstories, symbolic roles, visual “icons,” and narrative relationships of the Shark Girls members form part of the project’s protected IP. Their value is derived from the creator’s intent, world-building, and long-term character development, which remain exclusive to the project.Creative Instructions (Prompts): Our prompt engineering, direction methods, and internal generation workflows are treated as proprietary creative methodology and project-specific production know-how. To the extent they are maintained internally and not publicly disclosed in full, they may also function as confidential operational methods within the Shark Girls project.
3. "Produced by" vs. "Licensed by" (Production Standards)
Regardless of the AI model generation, we distinguish tracks that have undergone substantial professional human-led production in order to support a durable master-rights position.

・"Produced by Shark Girls" (Universal Standard) Applied to assets transformed through manual intervention in audio, lyrical, and visual domains.
・Audio: Reconstruction via DTM tools (e.g., source separation, re-mastering).
・Lyrics: Original human-authored works or substantive editorial refinement and creative direction of AI-generated drafts. By exercising significant creative control over these elements, the resulting work may support a separate and independent ownership position as a derivative work (or a primary work in the case of original lyrics), where legally recognized.
・Visuals: Substantive manual editing, including retouching, color grading, and video post-production of AI-generated drafts.・By refining raw AI-assisted output into a substantially reworked studio production through meaningful human-led transformation, the resulting work may support a separate and independent ownership position as a derivative work, where legally recognized.・This production layer provides an additional rights basis for legacy assets and may support an independent master-rights position where substantial human-led production and transformation are present.

4. OFFICIAL EVIDENCE & COMPLIANCE (CASE STUDY: SUNO AI)
To ensure full transparency, we provide the following evidence from our primary production platform (as of January 2026) to demonstrate how our ownership framework is applied in practice.
Case Exhibit A: Commercial Rights Verification As a Pro/Premier subscriber, the project maintains valid commercial use rights. This confirms our legal standing for distribution and monetization.Case Exhibit B: Ownership Assignment Clause The applicable Terms of Service (including the relevant revised version in effect at the time of generation) expressly assign “all right, title and interest” to eligible users under the applicable plan terms. 5. DIGITAL ASSET GOVERNANCE & TRACEABILITY
To support the integrity and traceability of our rights position, the Shark Girls project employs technical measures for asset tracking:
Audio Metadata: All distributed tracks are embedded with ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) and proprietary metadata identifying the project as the designated rights holder for the official release.Visual Watermarking: Original illustrations and video assets may contain cryptographic metadata or invisible watermarking to verify authenticity and track unauthorized distribution.Archival Evidence: We maintain secure logs of all production stages, including DTM project files, prompt histories, and editorial drafts, as legal evidence of human-led creative intervention.
6. Ethical AI Stance
Pro-Growth AI Policy: While we strictly protect our commercial rights and individual IP, the Shark Girls project supports the advancement of AI technology. Therefore, we do not object to the use of our published works for general AI training purposes (data analysis and style learning), provided such use does not infringe upon our trademarks or compete with our primary commercial interests.
7. AI Training & Generation Policy (Technical Rules)
7.1 General AI Training (Permitted)
The Shark Girls project does not object to the use of its publicly available works for general AI training, such as data analysis or broad style learning, provided that such use does not aim to reproduce, imitate, derive, or reconstruct the identity, voice, or persona of any specific Shark Girls character, nor substitute or compete with the project’s primary creative outputs.
For the avoidance of doubt, general AI training refers to non-targeted,
non-exclusive learning that does not use Shark Girls works as a primary
or defining dataset for the purpose of reproducing specific identities,
characters, or voices.7.2 Identity and Voice Replication (Strictly Prohibited)
Without the Operator’s explicit prior permission, it is strictly prohibited to create, train, fine-tune, adapt, or distribute any model, system, or method intended to clone, replicate, or closely imitate the identity, voice, or persona of Shark Girls characters, including but not limited to LoRA, RVC, voice cloning, character fine-tuning, or equivalent techniques.7.3 Direct-Input Generation Using Specific Works (Prohibited)
The use of Shark Girls works as direct input sources for generation—such as image-to-image (img2img), audio-to-audio (A2A), video-to-video, remix pipelines, or substantially similar direct-input methods—is prohibited without explicit prior permission.7.4 Scraping and Dataset Creation (Prohibited)
The collection, scraping, aggregation, or dataset creation of Shark Girls works for the purpose of AI training, model development, redistribution, or reuse, whether commercial or non-commercial, is prohibited without explicit prior permission.7.5 Conditional Use and No Implied Consent
Any AI-related use not expressly permitted above requires the Operator’s explicit prior permission. Silence, inaction, or lack of response shall not be interpreted as consent, approval, or license.
8. Application to Future Technologies
This policy applies not only to technologies, methods, or processes currently known or named, but also to any future technologies or approaches that achieve substantially similar results, regardless of terminology, implementation, or technical structure.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The works and policies on this page are provided on an “as is” basis.
The Operator makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, suitability, legality, or fitness for any particular purpose.To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to the use, interpretation, or inability to use the works or this policy.References to third-party platform policies are provided for contextual

11. Relationship with Terms of Use and Governing Law
This policy is designed to complement—not override—the Terms of Service of each platform. Where platform terms govern a specific output, those terms control; this document explains how the Shark Girls project classifies, manages, and governs assets within that contractual reality.This AI Training and Usage Policy forms part of the Shark Girls Rights & Licensing framework.
